Terms & Conditions
Last updated October 24, 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of pixkoz. Please read them carefully: they are an agreement between you and us.
1. Who we are & acceptance
pixkoz (the "Service") is run by BinaryBuddies, based in India ("we," "us," or "our"). BinaryBuddies is also the developer of the pixkoz app on Google Play. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Legal notices, privacy requests, copyright notices and appeals: hello@binarybuddies.in. Help with the product: contact@pixkoz.com.
2. Definitions
- "Service" — the pixkoz website and app and all related products, features, and functionality, including Magic Spells and the credits wallet.
- "Credits" — the prepaid units used to pay for actions on the Service.
- "Creator" — a user who publishes spells or other content that other users can use.
- "Content" — any images, prompts, text, files, or other material uploaded, created, generated, or transmitted through the Service.
- "You" — the individual using the Service.
3. The Service
pixkoz is a library of AI photo styles ("spells") made by creators. It lets you:
- Discover Magic Spells — browse AI photo styles made by creators, and copy the prompt of any free spell to use in your own AI image tools.
- Cast Magic Spells — apply creator-made AI transformations to your own photos.
- Like and share the spells you enjoy, and see more from the creators who made them.
- Manage one credits wallet — a single prepaid balance that works across everything on the Service.
Casting relies on third-party AI providers. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time; we tell you in advance about changes that matter to you.
4. Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service, and you confirm this when you sign in. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete its personal data. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Parental control tools, such as Google Family Link, that can limit a child's access to apps and websites are available commercially; the US Federal Trade Commission explains them at consumer.ftc.gov (search "parental controls").
5. Content rules
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Break any law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.
- Share anything that belongs to someone else and that you have no right to share, including photos of a person without their consent.
- Post sexual, nude, obscene or pornographic content, or anything that invades someone's privacy, including their bodily privacy.
- Create or share anything that sexualises a child or is harmful to a child in any way (see section 6).
- Create or share intimate or sexual images of a real person, whether real or made or edited by AI, without their consent.
- Create or share deepfakes: AI-made or edited images that falsely show a real person, or a real event, as if they were real, without the consent of the person shown.
- Harass, threaten, bully or insult anyone, including because of their gender, race, ethnicity, religion, disability or sexuality, or promote violence or hatred against any group.
- Impersonate anyone, mislead people about where something came from, or knowingly share misinformation or clearly false information.
- Make false documents, or share content about making or getting weapons or explosives.
- Encourage money laundering, or promote gambling or online games that are not allowed by law.
- Threaten the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, its friendly relations with other countries or public order; incite any offence or prevent its investigation; or insult any other nation.
- Post spam, scams or misleading content, or copy another creator's work as your own.
- Transmit malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other accounts.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
- Use automated means to access the Service beyond what a normal user would reasonably generate.
Photos you upload. Upload only photos of yourself, or of people who agreed to it; when you cast a spell or run a Studio test with your own photo, you confirm this. On the website we check photos and results automatically, and we may refuse a photo or withhold a result that breaks these rules: nothing is charged for a refused photo, and a withheld result is refunded. If you think we got it wrong, tell us from the message or with Report a problem, and a person looks again.
Reporting and blocking. If you see something that breaks these rules, report it from the ⋮ menu on the spell or creator page, or use Report a problem on the Contact Us page, which works without an account. The person you report is not told who reported them. You can also block a creator from the same menu so that their spells no longer appear for you, and unblock them at any time in Settings.
Illegal content. Anyone, with or without an account, can tell us about content they believe is illegal: use Report a problem → Harmful or illegal content, or write to hello@binarybuddies.in. Include the link to the content, why you think it is illegal, your name and email (not needed for child sexual abuse material), and a statement that you believe your report is accurate and complete. If you give us a way to reach you, we tell you what we decided.
Intimate images shared without consent. If an intimate or sexual image of you, real or AI-made, is on pixkoz without your consent, you or someone acting for you can ask us to remove it: report it from the ⋮ menu as Sexual or nude (signed in), or write to hello@binarybuddies.in with the subject "Intimate image" (no account needed). Include your name, the link or enough detail to find it, and a short statement that it was shared without your consent. We treat these reports as urgent and remove the image, and copies of it we know of, as fast as we can and within the time the law sets (in India, 2 hours from a complaint).
How we moderate. A person reviews every report and makes every decision on it. On the website, an automatic check also looks at uploaded photos and results; its block stops only that cast or test, and a person reviews every block that may involve a child or sexual content. Apart from that check, the only automatic step is that a reported spell is hidden from public lists while it waits for review, as soon as it is reported as involving a child, or when several different people report it for a serious reason. Spells from creators we have not yet marked as trusted are checked by a person before they appear publicly, and the AI providers that create cast results apply their own safety filters. What we can do: keep the content up, hide or remove a spell, ask the creator to fix it, stop a creator from publishing (their spells come down), close an account, or remove a generated result. We apply these rules consistently and proportionately, with care for free expression and privacy.
How fast we act. We act on reports of content involving a child, and of nude or sexual images of a real person or images that impersonate someone (including AI-made ones), as urgent: as fast as we can, and within the time the law sets (in India, 2 hours from a complaint). Reports of other violent, hateful, harmful or illegal content, privacy complaints, and content that uses a real person without consent, within 24 hours; all others within 72 hours. We report unlawful content, including any involving a child, to the authorities.
If you break these rules. We may remove your content and suspend or close your account, immediately where the breach is serious. Creating or sharing unlawful content can also lead to penalties under the law: in India, for example, under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986. Where the law requires, we report offences to the police or other authorities, and we share information about the person responsible where the law requires or allows it.
If we act on your content or account. We tell you, by email or in the app where we can, what we did and where it applies, for how long, the facts and the rule (or law) it was based on, whether it followed a report (we never say who reported you), whether anything was automated, and how to challenge it. You can always ask us for these reasons at hello@binarybuddies.in.
Appeals. To challenge a decision about your content or account, or, if you reported something, our decision on your report, write to hello@binarybuddies.in with the subject "Appeal" within 6 months of the decision. A person looks at it again with any new information you give, and we restore anything we removed by mistake. You can also go to court, or use the routes for your country in section 17.
Grievances. Complaints about content or about a moderation decision can be sent to our grievance team at hello@binarybuddies.in. We acknowledge them within 24 hours and resolve them within 7 days.
6. Child safety
pixkoz has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). You must not use the Service to create, generate, upload, request or share child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or anything that sexualises a minor, or to groom, sextort, traffic or otherwise exploit a child. This applies to AI-generated and edited images exactly as it does to real photos.
When we find such content, or someone reports it, we remove it, close the accounts involved and report it to the authorities responsible: for example the police in India, as the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act requires, the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), or the national authority where the law of another country requires it. We keep our record of every such report. If the account behind reported content is deleted while a child-safety report about it is still open, we keep that content as evidence instead of deleting it with the account.
How to report it. Use the ⋮ menu on the spell or creator and choose Involves a child, or go to Contact us → Report a problem → Involves a child (no account needed). We treat these reports as urgent. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
Child-safety contact. Questions about these standards, and reports, can go straight to our child-safety contact at hello@binarybuddies.in.
7. Credits & payments
7.1 Prepaid credits
pixkoz operates on prepaid credits, not a recurring subscription. You buy credits in top-up packs on the website through our payment provider (Razorpay), and your balance is stored in your wallet. An estimate of the credit cost of each action is shown before you confirm it; the final charge is the actual cost of the action, worked out as described in Section 3 of our Refund & Cancellation Policy, so it can be higher or lower than the estimate. One credit is worth ₹1.
7.2 When you are charged
Credits are deducted when you perform a paid action, such as casting a spell, and are only ever charged for a finished result. If an action fails for a reason on our side, the credits for that action are automatically returned to your wallet, as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If the final charge is higher than the credits reserved, the difference is deducted from your wallet, even below zero, and you cannot start another paid action until you add credits.
7.3 Nature of credits
Credits have no cash value except where expressly stated (for example, eligible creator earnings that you cash out), are not transferable, and are not a stored-value or payment instrument. Prices and credit costs may change; changes apply to future purchases and actions, never to credits you have already bought. The credit cost of an action follows our AI providers' prices and exchange rates, so it can change from day to day; the estimate shown before you confirm always uses the current figures.
7.4 Refunds
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Creators & earnings
As a Creator you may publish spells that other users can cast. You are responsible for ensuring your spells and prompts are lawful, do not infringe others' rights, and comply with these Terms. Write with AI suggestions are AI-generated; you're responsible for what you publish. When another user completes a paid cast of your spell, you earn 20% of the credits that user is charged for it (at the rate in effect when the cast starts), except on credits we gave that user. We set what casting a spell costs; it depends on the AI model the spell uses. Earnings can be cashed out as described in Section 10 of our Refund & Cancellation Policy; we deduct the payout fee and any tax we are required to deduct. We may withhold or reverse earnings arising from fraud, abuse, refunds, chargebacks, or violations of these Terms.
9. Your content & intellectual property
You retain ownership of the images and content you upload and, as between you and us, of the results you generate — subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and transmit your content solely to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service (including sending it to AI providers to produce your results). The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law or as evidence (see section 6) and backups until they are removed.
The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by BinaryBuddies and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service, except where the law allows it. A spell's prompt remains its Creator's. The Creator chooses when publishing: a free spell shows its prompt publicly, for anyone to copy and use; a paid spell keeps it private and it is never shown to the people who use it.
10. AI-generated content
Spell images and cast results are AI-generated images, not photos of real events. Do not present them as real, do not use them to deceive anyone, and do not remove or alter any watermark or other mark that identifies an image as AI-made. On pixkoz, spell images carry a visible "AI-generated" label on the spell page, as every image does in full-screen view, and each spell's menu has an "About this image" note, and pictures in grids carry a small AI mark. The share card and the link previews pixkoz makes carry the label too. Every AI-made picture pixkoz shows or lets you download carries embedded information that marks it as AI-made: downloads keep the Content Credentials (C2PA) and any metadata added by the AI model's maker, and the copies shown on screen carry metadata naming pixkoz. AI-made images may also carry invisible watermarks, such as Google's SynthID. If you share them, do not remove that label, that information or those watermarks. Creators who publish images made from a real person's photo must have that person's consent. A Studio test result a creator chooses as a spell's cover or as an example is shown with the original photo it was made from, so people can compare. The bans on deepfakes, intimate images without consent and anything sexualising a minor in sections 5 and 6 apply to everything made with AI.
AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected, or not what you intended, and results for the same input may vary. You are responsible for how you use it, including ensuring you have the rights to any input images and that your use of the output is lawful. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, appropriate, or fit for a particular purpose.
11. Copyright & trademark complaints
If you believe something on pixkoz infringes your copyright or trademark, write to hello@binarybuddies.in with: your physical or electronic signature; the work or mark you own; the link to the spell or profile; your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them. You can also use Copies my work in the ⋮ menu on a spell. We remove or disable the material if the notice is valid, and tell the creator.
Counter-notice. If you are the creator and believe the material was removed by mistake, write to hello@binarybuddies.in with your signature, the material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the courts of your district (or, outside the US, any place where we can be found). We send it to the person who complained and, unless they tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have gone to court, we may restore the material.
We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of the Service. For ordinary negligence, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intentional harm or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Nor does it exclude any right, remedy or guarantee that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded, such as those under the Australian Consumer Law, New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act, the UK Consumer Rights Act, the EU rules on digital content or Japan's Consumer Contract Act. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms.
14. Termination
14.1 By you
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time, yourself. On a phone held upright, in the app or a browser, open the You tab and tap Delete account at the end; on a wider screen, such as a computer, most tablets or a phone turned sideways, select the round button with your picture or initial (top right) and choose Settings → Delete account. Then type DELETE and choose Delete my account (instructions at app.pixkoz.com/account-deletion). If you cannot sign in, or we have closed your account, write to hello@binarybuddies.in and we will delete it for you within one month at most.
14.2 By us
We may suspend or close your account immediately if you seriously breach these Terms, break the law, or put other people or the Service at risk, and otherwise with reasonable notice. We tell you why and how to appeal (section 5).
14.3 Effect
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may delete your account and content subject to our retention obligations. Any credits remaining are handled in line with our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes about them or the Service. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the law of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by contract. Before going to court, please write to hello@binarybuddies.in so that we can try to put things right.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, to the law, or to how we keep people safe. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. For a material change we tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, on this page and by email or in the app where we can, unless a shorter time is needed for legal or safety reasons. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect. A change does not apply to a dispute that started before it, and nothing in a change takes away rights you have under the law of your country.
17. Regional terms
Where the law of your country gives you more, it applies; in particular:
17.1 European Economic Area, UK & Switzerland

Besides our appeals (section 5), you can take a dispute about a moderation decision to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the Digital Services Act, or to a court. In the UK you can complain to us about illegal content, about how we meet our online safety duties, or about a takedown or account action, and you can tell Ofcom about wider problems (Ofcom does not decide individual complaints).
