Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated October 24, 2026
How purchases, charges, and refunds work on pixkoz. We only charge you for what is successfully delivered.
1. Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how purchases, charges, and refunds work on pixkoz (the "Service"). Please read it alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
pixkoz is run by BinaryBuddies, based in India. Credits are sold only on the pixkoz website; the Android app sells nothing.
The Service runs entirely on credits. Credits are the single unit used across your wallet — you add credits to your wallet and spend them when you use paid features (for example, casting a spell). Credits are a prepaid balance for accessing digital services and do not represent legal tender or a stored-value instrument.
2. Credit purchases
Credits are purchased as one-time top-ups (“credit packs”). When you buy a credit pack:
- Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment partner (Razorpay); we do not store your full card or banking details.
- The corresponding credits are added to your wallet immediately after the payment is confirmed.
- Each purchase is a one-time transaction. There is no automatic renewal or recurring charge for credit packs.
- Credits added to your wallet do not expire as long as your account remains active and in good standing.
One credit is worth ₹1. Packs priced in rupees give one credit for each rupee you pay. Packs priced in US dollars are for buyers who live outside India and pay with a card issued outside India; they give credits at that day's exchange rate, and we show how many before you pay.
3. When credits are charged
Before you confirm a paid action we show an estimate of its cost, for example “≈ 13 credits”. It follows what that kind of action has recently cost. It is not a fixed price or a cap.
- When you confirm, credits equal to the estimate are reserved from your wallet.
- Credits are only ever charged for a finished result. The final charge is what it actually cost us to produce your result with our AI provider, plus our margin and, on another creator's spell, the creator's share, converted into credits at ₹1 each and rounded up to the next whole credit.
- If the final charge is lower than the reserve, the rest comes back to your wallet. If it is higher, the difference is taken from your wallet, even if that takes your balance below zero. While your balance is below zero you cannot start a new paid action; your next purchase covers the shortfall first. We do not ask you to pay a negative balance in any other way.
- Credits are used in this order: credits given to you by pixkoz, then creator earnings, then credits you bought, oldest first.
- Creators' test runs in Studio are charged the same way, without a creator's share.
- Because the result is generated and delivered to you instantly, credits that have been successfully spent are non-refundable, except where Section 6 says otherwise.
4. Automatic refunds for failed actions
We only charge you for what is successfully delivered. If a paid action fails due to a technical or processing error on our side and no result is delivered:
- The reserved credits are automatically returned to your wallet in full.
- No action is required from you — the refund posts back to your wallet balance automatically.
- If you believe a failed action was not refunded correctly, contact us and we will investigate and make it right.
This includes when the AI provider refuses the request, takes too long or returns no image, and when we cannot store your result. If a result reaches us after we have refunded you, we do not deliver it and do not charge for it.
5. Refunds for credit purchases
Apart from the rights in Section 6, credit pack purchases are generally non-refundable, as credits are made available for use immediately upon purchase. However, we will refund the unused portion of a recent purchase in the following situations:
- You were charged more than once for the same purchase (duplicate transaction).
- Credits were not added to your wallet after a successful payment.
- You were charged in error, or for an amount that does not match the pack you selected.
Refunds, where approved, are issued only for the value of unused credits remaining in your wallet from the relevant purchase. Credits that have already been spent on completed actions cannot be refunded, except where Section 6 says otherwise.
6. Your rights under consumer law
Nothing in this policy takes away rights that the consumer law of the country where you live gives you and that cannot be excluded. Where that law gives you more than this policy, we follow the law.
- EU, EEA and UK. If you buy as a consumer, you can withdraw from a credit purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. Email us (see Section 7) with your order reference and a clear statement, such as “I withdraw from my purchase of [pack] on [date]”. We refund the unused credits from that purchase in full, to the way you paid, within 14 days of receiving your message. Credits you have already used were spent on casts you started yourself; if your law gives you money back for those as well, we pay it.
- Brazil. You can cancel a credit purchase within 7 days of buying it and get a full refund of the credits you have not used.
- Australia and New Zealand. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. If a cast fails to meet them, you can ask for a refund or a fix.
- India. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 apply. You can raise a complaint about a payment or a refund with us first (see our Contact us page), and with the consumer authorities.
- Everywhere else. If your country's consumer law gives you a right to cancel, to a refund, or to a refund of unused paid credits when you close your account, we honour it.
7. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email us at contact@pixkoz.com within 7 days of the transaction, or within the longer period your law gives you (Section 6). Please include:
- The email address associated with your account.
- The transaction date and order/payment reference.
- A brief description of the issue and the reason for your request.
We will review your request and respond with a decision. We may ask for additional information to verify the transaction.
8. Refund processing time
Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method through our payment partner. Once approved, refunds are typically initiated within 5–7 business days, and never later than the law of your country allows. The time it takes for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside our control.
9. Cancellation and account closure
Because credit packs are one-time purchases, there is no recurring subscription to cancel. You can simply stop purchasing additional credits at any time.
You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at contact@pixkoz.com. Please note that any unused credits remaining in your wallet at the time of closure are forfeited and are not exchangeable for cash, except where a valid refund request applies under Section 5, or the law of your country gives you a refund of them (Section 6). If you want such a refund, ask for it before you close your account.
10. Creator earnings
Creators earn 20% of the credits a user is charged for each completed cast of their spell by another user, counted to a thousandth of a credit and added to the creator's wallet in whole credits. Credits we gave a user (for example as a correction) earn creators nothing. A creator's own test runs earn nothing. Earned credits can be spent like any other credit, or cashed out at ₹1 each once 14 days have passed since they were earned, from ₹500, to the creator's own bank account or UPI ID after the creator gives a valid PAN. We deduct the payout provider's fee, the GST on it and any income tax we must deduct at source, and show each deduction. Where credits are refunded to a user for a failed action, no creator earnings arise. If a purchase that paid for a cast is refunded or reversed by the buyer's bank, we take back the creator earnings from that cast, even after 14 days; this can take the creator's balance below zero, and future earnings cover it first. Creator payouts, once issued, are final except in cases of demonstrable error or fraud.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, and the date at the top shows the latest version. Before a material change takes effect we tell you in advance, by email or on pixkoz where we can, aiming for 30 days' notice; a change takes effect sooner only where the law or people's safety requires it. A change never takes away a refund you were already entitled to for a purchase made before it. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop buying credits and close your account.
